Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

The college has been recognized by Ministry of MSME Government of India, New Delhi, an institute of business incubator (BI)/host institution (HI) for implementation of the scheme “Support for Entrepreneurial and Managerial Development of SMEs through Incubator” and accordingly Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam MSME Business Incubator Centre is functioning in the institution and Funding for 7 innovative ideas have been sanctioned by Ministry of MSME, GoI, New Delhi to the tune of 43.5 lakhs.

IISc – MSME Centre of Excellence, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore has approved five student projects – innovative ideas and granted financial assistance of Rs. 3.0 lakhs each project for further support.

MoU has been signed with a Prestigious Institution of National Stature, Defence Food Research Laboratory (DFRL), Mysore, a government of India organization, for developing equipments for food processing.

Likewise MoU signed with Government College of Engineering, Salem for collaborative research in the field of Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy to improve the life standards of people.

VMKVEC signed MoU with Alpha Omega Hi-Tech Biotechnology Research Centre on 12th October 2015, to enhance the research on bioscience. It is to administer the young graduates an experience in research and project development on biotechnology research.

MoU has been signed between Trident Automobiles Pvt. Ltd. (Trident Training Academy) Bangalore and VMKVEC, “Semester Break Capsule Training”

MoU has been signed between Infosys and VMKVEC for Campus Connect, under Academia-Industry Initiative of Campus Connect, “Deep Dive Faculty Enablement Program” has been conducted by Infosys. Various industrial electives recommended by Infosys have been inducted in curriculum and our students have been benefited. This institute has been declared as Premium Partner Institute consecutively for the second year by Infosys.

MoU between ICT Academy of Tamilnadu and VMKVEC has been signed to conduct “Skill Edge” program ( a skill development initiative dedicated to create & enhance employability skills among the graduating students to feed the ICT industry and ITES industry).

VMKVEC has also been enrolled as NASSCOM member which provide a unique opportunity for the institution and its professional to engage and drive through leadership.

MoU has been signed with Bosch Ltd., Chennai, to train the students of VMKVEC at their premises in Automotive Equipments.

MoU has been signed with Taneja Aerospace & Aviation Ltd., to provide technical training to Aeronautical Engineering and Airport Management students.

MoU Signed with ITK Education Services Private Limited, A training and hiring partner of ZOHO Corporation, India

MoU Signed with Sona Yukti Private Limited for Skill Development, Industry specific outcome based training and related services. MoU Signed with Amity soft Technologies, Chennai for setting up the software testing lab to satisfy the industrial expectations.

MoU Signed with Frontline Electronics, Salem for Setting up of the laboratory to initiate, undertake, execute research and development activities connected with Embedded system Design, VLSI & Digital Signal Processing etc to satisfy the industrial expectations.

MoU Signed with Amrita University, Kollam for establishment of Virtual Laboratory to learn the things through virtual environment.

MoU Signed with KNOVONAT, Salem for providing technical assistance along with Research support especially in pharmaceutical engineering and Bio technology.

MoU Signed with Indian infotech, Namakkal for providing Knowledge sharing along with Research and Development activities especially in green electronics.

MoU Signed with Intel Technology India, Private Limited, Bangalore for setting up the AI lab to conduct the excellence Program along with Foundation for Innovation and Collaborative Education (FICE).

MoU Signed with Ford India Private Limited, Kancheepuram to impart training to the students and to familiarize the modern technologies involved in cars and engines.

MoU Signed with Siemens Centre of Excellence in Manufacturing to impart Skill development, Internship and Research to the students and to familiarize the modern technologies.

MoU Signed with Vaayusastra Aerospace Pvt Ltd to impart Training, Internship, startup enablement and Research to the students and to familiarize the modern technologies.
