One day Guest lecture on “A Unique Opportunities” was organized by the Department of Biotechnology in Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, a constituent college of Vinayaka Mission`s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) on 27/06/2019. Dr. M. Sridevi, Professor& Head, Department of Biotechnology, VMKV Engineering College welcomed the gathering and Prof.Dr.P.Selvam, Head, Department of EEE, VMKV Engineering College delivered the presidential address. Chief guest Mr. ISAK Nazar, Founder & CEO of Manna Food Products inaugurated the programme in the presence of Dr.A.Nagappan, Principal, VMKV Engineering College, Mr.J.Muthukumar, Managing Director, Sri Ponkumar Group of Companies and Mr.K.Mohanraj, Executive Director, First Crop Montessori Schools. Mr. ISAK Nazar in his speech motivated the students and pointed out the job opportunities for students in Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical and Food industries in current scenario and in future. He encouraged the students to keep their mind always open to find the opportunities around them and with constant determination of achieving their goals and get success in life. He also insists the necessity of inculcating the practical skills required by industrial experts. Mr.J.Muthukumar emphasized the importance of industrial expectations and students’ competency. Mr.Mohan Raj insisted us to love ourselves, finding one’s unique potential and helping others as the secrets of success. More than 150 students from the department of Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Engineering and Biomedical engineering were participated and benefited from this program. Program was ended with the vote of thanks by Dr.S.Anusuya, Associate Professor & Head, Department of pharmaceutical engineering.
