One Day Training Programme on Training of Teachers [ToT] for Student Induction Program [SIP], on 15 Jul 2019

Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College – Salem, Tamil Nadu, A constituent College of VMRF – [DU] – Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation – [Deemed to be University] had organized and conducted a one Day Training Program on Training of Teachers [ToT] for Students Induction Program – [SIP], on Monday 15th July 2019, under the aegis of University Grants Commission [UGC] – New Delhi, and All India Council for Technical Education – [AICTE] Chennai. Prof. Dr. A. Nagappan – Principal of Institution, presided and briefed about the Periodical Training of Teachers to update themselves and transform the updated knowledge to the learning community. Prof. Dr. C.S. Ramanigopal, Head, Department of Management Studies, Welcomed the gatherings. Prof. Dr. P.K. Sudhir – Vice Chancellor of the University, VMRF-DU inaugurated by lighting the lamp and emphasized the importance and impact of Student Induction Program for the upcoming and existing students community. Further he addressed about the roles and responsibilities of teachers to mentor the fresher’s, to get practice and adopt the new environment. Staff members of the Engineering College actively participated and benefitted through the training program. Dr. C. S. Ramanigopal and Prof. N. Rajan served as Resource persons of the program. In the Valedictory functions Prof. Dr. B. Jayakar, Registrar of the University, summed up the need of the present Student Induction Program also he motivated the participants to deal the freezers with parental care. Also he observed the feedback session. Prof. Dr. P. Selvam, Conveyed the vote of thanks.
