Memorandum of Understanding between VMKVEC and Sona Yukti Pv Ltd, for Skill Development, on 10 Feb 2020

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is signed between Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananada Variyar Engineering College, Salem, a constituent college of Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation (Deemed to be University) and SONA YUKTI PRIVATE Limited, Bangalore, at the board room in the university office, for establishing a “ Smart Centre” in presence of Dr. P.K.Sudhir, Vice-Chancellor, Dr. B.Jayakar, Registrar, Dr. C.L.Prabhavathi, Controller of Examinations, Dr. S.Suriyanarayanan, Joint Registrar (Admin) from VMRF (DU), Dr. A.Nagappan, Principal, Mr.G.Ramakrishnaprabu, Associate Professor,Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Placement Officer from VMKV Engineering College and Mr.H.Shankar, Senior Manager from Sona Yukti Private Limited, Bangalore. The main objective of this MoU, is the skill development initiates to improvise the career prospects of students and to discover their knowledge and motivate them to become an industrial ready. Commitments of Sona Yukti Pvt Ltd: 1. Provide one or two-days Training / Workshop on Life Skills, Communication Skills and Interview Skills for final year students of the college by experience trained faculty member by setting up a SMART Centre at the college premises. 2. Provide the free online platform www.sonayukti.comin for Students and Recruiters to find the best students for jobs. 3. Free access to Learning Management System– E Learning modules available to Students to practice and learn online. 4. Support the students, in increasing awareness of placement opportunities, skill required and giving necessary materials for upgrading knowledge through E-learning portal. The outcomes of this MOU is bridging the gap in employability skills by imparting suitable training and provide an opportunity to all the students by connecting them to the right jobs.
