Independence Day Celebrations, on 15 Aug 2019

73rd Independence Day was celebrated in Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering Salem on 15th August 2019. Principal Dr A.NAGAPPAN hoisted the National flag in presence of Prof Dr.A.Sam Thamburaj, Academic-Coordinator, Vinayaka Missions College of Physiotherapy, Salem, all Heads of Departments, Staffs and students and 25 NCC cadets participated in march-past and presented General salute to our National Flag. The cadets also sang the NCC song. The Drill performed by cadets was very much appreciated by chief guest and other dignitaries present in the Independence Day celebration function .The function ended with NCC clap and sweet distribution by our NCC cadets. Following the Celebration of Independence Day National Cadets Corps participated and planted more than 30 saplings in the college campus as a motivation to plant more trees. Arrangements were made by Lieutenant S. Kannan Associate NCC Officer, Staffs and the students of the college.
