Two Days - Hands on training on “Smart Phone Chip Level Servicing”, on 18 & 19 Nov 2019

Two days hands on training on “Smart Phone Chip Level Servicing” was organized by the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Salem in association with IEEE AESS Madras section, on 18.11.2019 & 19.11.2019. The programme was inaugurated with the prayer song followed by the lightning of Kuthuvizhakku. Dr.T.Muthumanickam HOD/ECE welcomed the dignitaries and Principal Dr. A. Nagappan delivered the presidential address. The Resource person of the program is Mr.B.Krishnakumar, Managing Director along with his team from New Technology Mobile Service & Training Institute, Coimbatore. About 11 students and 10 faculty members have participated from various departments of Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Salem. The resource persons trained the participants in troubleshooting, software oriented problems, chip level servicing of the mobile phones. The workshop ended with a vote of thanks proposed by Mr.S.Selvaraju, Associate Professor/ECE and certificates were distributed. Outcome: The workshop created a platform for the participants to identify and test the necessary components inside the mobile phone. The participants acquired enough knowledge in troubleshooting and servicing the phone.
