Guest Lecture on “Developing veterinary products with Aerosol Technology” by Easuraja Arputham, organized by Dept. of Pharmaceutical Engineering, on 05 Nov 2019

A guest lecture was organized by the Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Salem-636308, Tamil Nadu on 05th November 2019. Total of 100 students from Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering and Department of Biotechnology were participated in this lecture and were benefited from this session. Dr. Anbazhagan, Professor & Head, Department of Chemistry, Vinayaka Mission’s Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College introduced the speaker and Prof. P. K. Kumaresan felicitated the speaker. Mr.Easuraja Arputham, Managing Director of three of the companies Herbal remedies (M) Sdn., Aerotech Innovative Sdn., Univet supplies (M) Sdn. was the chief guest of this program and delivered a lecture on “Developing veterinary products with Aerosol Technology”. In his speech, he addressed the following: How to develop the veterinary products in Aerosol dosage form. He showed such a spray which was manufactured in his company for healing wounds in pets and large animals using essential oil in aerosol dosage form. Mr.Jeyaprakash, Managing Director, Knovonat, a vet & pet care product manufacturer was also given a talk on the significance & importance of Indian herbs. He emphasized that consumption of herbal formulations will avoid side effects and adverse reactions. Both the guests made the presentations interactive and interesting. Students also raised various questions during the query session, which was well addressed by both the speakers. Dr.Anusuya, HOD, Department of Pharmaceutical Engineering, VMKV Engineering College concluded the session with vote of thanks.
